"The worst game I've ever played"
When I ordered this game I was very excited and I couldn't wait for it to arrive. I'd heard lots of good things about this game and thought it would be great. When it arrived I shoved it in my PSP and started it. The game was a massive disappointment.
The game is pointless; there is no goal or no trophies to work towards. There is no career mode. The only thing that you get from a race is money to buy new cars. You may be able to choose from 800 different cars at a time but there are only four car companies available at a time and you have to wait a day for it to change.
The graphics are okay and the sounds are average. The tracks aren't great and there is no point in buying a good car because the game automatically chooses better cars to match it. You also have to pass various driving tests at the beginning, it is almost impossible to do well in them because the computer generated cars seem to be driving glued to the track.
The only good thing about the game is the array of cars that you can drive. From a Ferrari Enzo to a Bugatti Veyron.
All in all I regret buying this game and strongly advise other people not to buy it, you are much better off buying a game such as Test Drive or even Need For Speed Undercover.

Very nice graphics, nice driving simulation and controls, given that you play this game in a pocket sized machine. Probably the nicest driving game on psp.

I can't think of anything bad to say. I love this game. To have a game of this quality now at this price and portable is unbelievable. I have all the GT games on all the consoles. I love them all and this is no exception. Its worth buying a PSP (If you don't have one) just for this game alone. This will do me until GT5 comes out on PS3.

If you like the GT series then you must get this game; fantastic graphics, lots of cars and courses and the ability to import your garage into GT5, if or when it ever arrives.
The game consists of 102 challenges (a mix of license tests and missions), and 72 courses that you will want to race, starting at D class and progressing through to S class. After that it is about racing or Time Trial for fun though one thing you may want to do is to collect all the cars. Go online with adhoc mode or adhoc party on the PS3 to race, share or trade cars.
There are over 800 cars of which about 700 are shareable with other players and about 100 that you can purchase and then trade (Share = you both end up with the car, Trade = swap with each other). If you want every car and every colour then it is over 4000 cars to collect.
Good: GTPSP has an install utility that makes loading times so fast (PSP developers take note !!), your garage can be imported into GT5, unbelievable graphics, wide selection of cars (800+) and courses (72 including some with reverse), the only racing SIM for the PSP.
Bad: no career mode, controls (a limitation of the PSP) and a lot of grinding (re-running races to earn credits) to collect all the cars, arguably limited appeal for non-GT fans.

A great game, my son absolutely loves this and is one of his favourites PSP games, really good graphics and well worth the money.
