  • Rating 5 stars Excellent for the Internet 05/07/2010 Read full review>>
The PSP is, in my opinion, the best handheld console there is. I have had mine since the month it came out and i still use it very often now.

The PSP good for games, movies and music (however its not pocket sized). But the thing that makes it great in my opinion is the fact that you can use the internet fully on it, most everyday pages can be accessed on it such as Google, Ebay and Amazon (though i would not reccommend purchasing something on it) at ease and stored into your favorites, the only bad thing about the internet however is that it can take some time to load certain pages and it can be frustrating at times, however its a good substitute for a computer when you need to check comething quickly. The battery lasts quite a long time however it deteriorates quickly after owning one over a long period of time. But you can plug it in and use it whilst it is charging.

The games look amazing for something so small, the graphics beat a PS1 and are not too far off a PS2, many great games such as Gran Turismo and GTA are available to buy. You can purchase full games from the playstation network online, the games download directly to your PSP and most are playable in roughly half an hour! PS1 'Classics' can be downloaded too, so you can relive the days of Metal Gear Solid, Abes Oddeysee and Theme Park World again.

I think that the originals are beter then the new 'PSP Go' as you can do the same stuff on it and play UMD discs (wheras on a PSP Go, You can't.) Although the psp go is smaller and has some minor benefits i thnk that a PSP 3000 is better (but im sticking with my original for now :)
  • Rating 3 stars Is it worth it? 27/02/2010 Read full review>>
In answer to my title, no. The PSP is a good media device however you're much better off with an iPod touch. With the iPod touch you have access to over 50,000 games and aplications. It plays movies, music, photos, etc. So why bother getting a PSP when you could get an iPod touch with a touch screen and 8GB memory for around £100, a much better deal in my opinion. Also the battery life on a PSP is appalling, trust me I own one.

This product is just amazeing! Sony has decided to impress thier constumers for once and they have succeded! There are now 4 versions of the PSP or in my words a portable PS3! The 4 versions are the PSP 1000,the PSP 2000,the PSP 3000 and finally the PSP GO! I recommend this for anyone since it is a good product!
  • Rating 4 stars good but wait 31/01/2009 Read full review>>
The psp am reviewing is the very first model. It does every thing you would want it to do but has a couple of flaws, it's hard trying to find a video that works on it without going through the hassle of converting it and the volume is very low. I now use a set of speakers which plug into the headphone adapter. Much better than a ds i would reccomend this if you got it for a good price or instead buy a newer version. After this one was the 2000 (slim & lite ) model then there was the 3000 model (better screen) and soon to be released is the psp go (the psp go is smaller but can not play umd's which in my opinion is not very good for the consumer as you can buy second hand games at a good price, you can't buy a second hand downloads or trade them in.
