We have a problem with this cable - the video output is either greyscale or redscale (if that makes sense) - but frustratingly no matter what we do, we cannot get colour output onto the TV. The tiny slider for different TV output seems to have no effect whatever it is set to and however the cables are connected.
But the quality of the image, other than the lack of colour, is pretty good considering it is designed for a handheld device and is being displayed on a 46" plasma TV.
But unfortunately, I cannot recommend it unless the colour problem can be fixed.

This is a great cable to view/play your PSP games on your TV.
Supplied in heat sealed plastic packaging and 3m/9.8ft long {unlike one I bought recently}, with a 2 yr limited warranty.
I have a PSP 3000 and by holding down the Display button on the PSP for more than 5 seconds to switch to video output mode, the picture is then shown on your bigger screen, as detailed in the PSP manual.
This works for games only if your TV has component video inputs supporting NTSC video format, most HDTV's do {green, blue and red sockets for the video and white, red for the audio in}.
The yellow cable is for a composite connection to a normal TV for UMD movies 'only' via a switch on the block where the cable splits into 6.

This PSP component cable gives a high quality image, but be warned you can not use it to play games on your TV, you need an AV component cable or something like that...
A good buy so long as you only want to watch videos.
