Ok...so wii Beach Sport is not the 'gamers' no.1 game, but it has it's own fan base and that is families who want fun, it is easy to play, good graphics and brings out the competiveness even in a 7 year old! I would place it alongside wii sport that comes with the wii as the only game our 2(age 7&10) will put in the console and play on their own. So really when looking at review think about what you are actually looking for if you want family fun on a family budget then this is a good game to buy.

Being a casual gamer who enjoys playing Wii Sports, I thought this would offer more-of-same but add a bit more variety.

I was wrong. Partly my fault as I assumed this was a follow up to Wii Sports when it's actually nothing to do with it, but the main disappointment with this game is that it seems badly put together.

My wife and I were playing Beach Cricket and whenever it was time to swap over, by the time we'd got up and got into position - the bowler and bowled! Normally with games you are asked to press a button when you're in position and ready, but not here. So the movement to the Wiimote when walking across the room counted as a swing.

The Wii Beach Sports logo pops up all the time whilst the next bit of game is loaded. It might only be there for a second, but it feels as if the flow is constantly interrupted.

And finally, with Wii Sports you feel as though you can work on your technique and improve - this just feels like pot luck. You throw and hope for the best.

In a nutshell: Annoyingly, this could have been much better if it had been polished a bit before being released. Wii Sports demonstrated how a simple game can be executed to near perfection. This just feels like a cheap imitation of a game that was free in the first place!

This has to be the worst value game ever, I gave up after 15 minutes and haven't soiled my Wii with it again.

    Don't buy it

This game is a total waste of money. As said in other reviews.. Bad graphics, slow load times, and no Mii support. with only six games and no career path of note it's hardly a game of depth.
give this game a wide birth!!

This product may seem cheap and cheerful, and yes it does have those qualties, but for a game so simple it can be quite good fun. However it does have it's downsides, for instants it is not a great game to play alone.

But for something so cheap and surpiseingly good fun it wouldn't be a bad thing to spend your money on!
