I received this item today in perfect condition thanks to the great Amazon packaging!
Transferring the data from my old 20 Gig drive to this one was a piece of cake and after installing it on my 360 it worked perfectly!!
The transfer cable IS included in the packaging, as well as the CD, so everything you need is there. It took about 20 minutes to transfer my 18GB games, saved games, gamer pics etc. which I consider it to be a fast time, as I've read that it can take about 1.5 hours to transfer, but that's probably from the larger 120 gig model.
The only "problem" was the product packaging itself, as you can easily cut yourself with the hardened plastic, (plus it takes quite some time to cut through in order to get the disk "free", but it does keep the HD safe from knocks etc which a box might get while travelling to any destination, so I was happy it was there and was more happier that I did not need any stitches afterwards LOL.
So, overall it is a great product and if you are an owner of a fat 360 and need more space for your games I suggest that you grab one of these!

I considered upgrading to the new 360 Slim, but in the end couldn't justify the cost for a machine that didn't actually do anything different to my current unit.
So I upgraded my hard drive at this bargain price (unit is £80 in most high street shops), transferred all the data from my old 20gb hard drive in about 10 minutes, then sold the old hard drive, transfer cable and disc (through Amazon).
Total cost of upgrading from 20gb hard drive - £25 - it would be rude not to.

I was a bit worried about losing all the data from my current drive but this pack came with everything you need to transfer the data and showed you how in an easy to understand way. Dont think i will ever use up all that space but worth having for demo's and video's. Very good price too!

It's a hard drive, what more can I say. I took off the blank, and stuck this in, job done!

Having had too many RROD than id care to admit to. I was interested to see how the new 360 Slim turned out reliability wise. After a few weeks of release, and numerous youtube videos (they cant all be fakes right?) the red dot of doom (RDOD) seems to be a new possible design fault. Its a real shame because i love its new look and black shinyness. In the end i decided that i wouldnt temp fate with a new console. My current one is still ok after 12 months so i decided to just upgrade the storage capacity instead. Thats where the 250gb Hard Drive comes in. At around £50, with fast efficient delivery. I cant see too much to fault this item, though because i have a lot of titles, theres no way i could install them all at once so have just loaded the most played at the moment. Perhaps Microsoft could have produced a larger hd, but with the new slim on the scene, thats unlikely now. Overall: - if you have a working 360 then i would say just upgrade your storage capacity, and wait to see how the new slim works out reliability wise.
